Angel Tree

Donate to Angel Tree

Each year we support angels from many different areas. We are happy to again be partnering with Common Ground Network for the Community Angels from Mansfield ISD, as well as other area churches and our own members to supply angel tree gifts for Methodist Children’s Home. We will also have trees for Homeless Veterans, Care Angels, and the Nursing Home Angels. This year due to COVID-19, we will be offering tags earlier to allow time for online shopping as well as online registration for Angel tags both beginning Nov 8th.

  • Nov 29-Dec. 6 – (12:30 pm – 4:30 pm) Drive-Thru Gift Return – New Pleasant Ridge Circle Drive
  • Dec 7 – Sorting Day – Gym
  • Dec 10 – Distribution Day – Gym

Is your time in short supply but you’d like to take part in our Angel Tree Ministry? GOOD NEWS! You can donate to Angel Tree and we’ll do the shopping!!

Circle of 12

Pastor David shared in his message Sunday that we will be forming Circles of 12 to continue reaching out to members and guests of our church family. The objective is to create groups of individuals/families in our church and have a designated person assigned to each circle to pray for them, check on them, and be a liaison between their circle and our Care Ministry Team.

Do you know people who could help serve in this capacity that you would recommend?

We are looking for help in two ways:

  1. Volunteers:
    • Reach out to group members;
    • Volunteers will receive training;
    • This is an ongoing volunteer opportunity reaching out twice a month to members of their circle.
  2. Coordinators:
    • Check-in with our Circle volunteers – see how they are doing and keep a record of feedback.
    • Communicate information from volunteers to Katie.

If you would be interested in being a Circle of 12 Volunteer or Coordinator or know someone who would, please email Tina or Katie.
